Covid-19 Update: A letter from our President and CEO
March 25, 2020
To Our Valuable Members:
For the safety of our members and staff we are continuing to closely follow the daily developments concerning coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is affecting our business and our communities.
I want to start by reassuring you that your money is safe. Unison Credit Union is insured by NCUA and your deposits are insured up to $250,000 per depositor type. The NCUA disclosure is available upon request if you would like to read it. Even though our lobbies are closed, and our hours are changing, we continue to take deposits, close personal and mortgage loans through electronic channels, and most other services using our drive thru windows. This may not be the most efficient way to do things, but at this time it is the safest.
Under Governor Evers new “Safer at Home” order, the financial services sector is designated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an Essential Critical Infrastructure. We are here for you and will continue to be here for you during this time.
In an effort to continue to do business as usual, but with the safety of our staff top of mind, we will be making some small changes to our hours as we navigate through this new normal.
