Empowering Kids and Empowering Teens

We are thrilled to announce a rebranding of our youth savings accounts! As of May 1st, 2024, we will be renaming our Moola Moola and Serious Savings accounts to align with our exciting new youth account program. Moola Moola accounts will adopt the name Empowering Kids (for kids ages 0-13), and Serious Savings accounts will adopt the name Empowering Teens (for teens ages 14-17).

With this rebrand comes new perks designed to empower your child’s financial journey at Unison: 

  • Competitive Rates – Empowering Kids/Teens accounts will earn 3.04% APY* on the first $1,000.00 deposited.
  • Deposit Incentives – Kids who deposit $5.00 or more into their Empowering Kids account will receive a prize each time**!
  • Debit Cards for Teens – Teens, starting at age 14, may be eligible for a checking account and debit card with their Empowering Teens account.
