A Letter from our President and CEO, Mark Hietpas!

We officially opened our lobbies last week– with the exception of Saturdays. We are currently offering drive-thru hours ONLY on Saturday’s to avoid moving our staff around and to lessen the potential spread of covid within our branches. Although we have come a long way since the initial closing of our lobbies in March of 2020, we still need to be cautious. We are committed to providing exceptional member service, while continuing to keep the safety of our staff, members, and our communities top of mind. We have installed plexiglass on all the teller lines and in all Member Advisor offices. We have floor stickers installed in all lobbies to practice social distancing and masks are required. We are asking that members continue to utilize our online services, ATM’s, night deposits and our drive-thru services as much as possible.

When will my payment arrive? During the last round of payments, the I.R.S. got the first payments out within a few days. As before, members should be able to track the status of their payment via the I.R.S.’s Get My Payment tool. Be aware that the volume of users sometimes overwhelms the site. Remember – scammers also want to try and get your money! Please be careful with various “phishing techniques” that scammers are using including text messages, emails and phone calls that are attempting to steal your personal information and your money!

High School Seniors – time is running out!

The Unison Credit Union John Aman Memorial Scholarship awards $2,000 to students who best mirror the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and who have learned the importance of volunteerism and giving back to the community. The scholarships are given in memory of John Aman, Unison’s first CEO.
