Spook-tacular Things to Do with the Family this Fall

Summer is finally winding down and after some hot and humid weather, a crisp fall breeze is definitely in order! Fall comes with so many favorite activities to enjoy outside before we lock up for winter.
It’s a time to be snuggly under blankets again in your home, but also enjoy a long sleeve shirt and jeans outside with comfort and a slight chill to your skin. Here are a few things you can plan to do this fall with family or friends!
Buying new fall décor – home is your safe haven, and decorating it with seasonal décor can flourish your mind with serotonin and happy vibes. Changing up your space can bring life and character to your home, and not to mention fun! Check out your nearest store for seasonal sales on décor!
Go Apple Picking – Check out an apple orachard close to home, or take a road trip a little farther away to enjoy some freshly grown apples! Here are a few in the Fox Valley;

- Carry a flash-light or reflectors
- Stay in familiar neighborhoods
- Visit houses that have lights on, especially houses with Halloween décor
- Wear comfortable walking shoes
- Accept treats only at the doorway, never go inside the house
